There was still a slight spring chill in the air when this whisky was distilled on the 8th May 1973.
Light spring showers had made their way down the mountains, replenishing the land after the 'Forgotten Drought' earlier that year.
This distinctive whisky then spent 46 years aging in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels before finding its finish in Tawny Port pipes.
Only 102 bottles of this exceptional single malt were ever produced.
