40 Year Old
Carefully chosen for its singular qualities, this selection was distilled in 1977 as the land recovered from the long, hot summer of the previous year. While the world moved on, it stayed still, slowly and steadily developing a rich depth of flavour while never losing the signature tropical style that makes it unmistakably Fettercairn.
Aged for around 38 years in refill American oak hogsheads and then finished for over two years in first-fill bourbon barrels.
There are only 89 bottles of our 40 Year Old in the world.

All products are available for shipping within the UK, and we currently ship a small selection of our products to some EU markets.
Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Friday will usually be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 1pm, on weekends, or on public holidays, will be dispatched the following working day.
Our standard delivery times are up to 3-5 working days for UK and up to 5-10 days for EU. All orders are delivered by courier, as advised in dispatch notification.
